Saronic 38x 2025 Revenue Multiple
Saronic
A 38x 2025 revenue multiple means investors are underwriting Saronic less like a normal hardware contractor and more like the next scaled defense prime in a market that is opening unusually fast. The number only makes sense because revenue appears to have jumped from $12.5M in 2024 to about $200M in 2025, driven by Navy and USSOCOM programs, while the company has already moved to own shipyard capacity so it can turn contract wins into vessel output instead of staying stuck at the prototype stage.

The key comparable is Anduril, not a traditional shipbuilder. Both companies front load R&D, sell finished systems on fixed price contracts, and pitch faster deployment than cost plus incumbents. In March 2026, Anduril was seeking a $60B valuation on $2.1B of 2025 revenue, about 29x, which puts Saronic's contemplated multiple in the same defense growth playbook, just earlier in the curve.

Saronic's valuation is also a bet on category tailwinds. Maritime autonomy now has dedicated budget support, including $5.7B allocated to maritime autonomous systems, and the Navy is shifting toward large fleets of cheaper unmanned vessels instead of relying only on a small number of exquisite ships. That backdrop gives a startup selling $400K to $1.2M vessels room to compound much faster than legacy naval contractors.

Compared with other autonomy companies, Saronic sits at the highest end of revenue multiples because its market is earlier and its growth is sharper. Saildrone was valued around 14x 2024 revenue at $600M, Shield AI traded around 19.8x on $267M of 2024 revenue, while Saronic moved from $12.5M in 2024 to about $200M in 2025 as contract volume accelerated.
The next phase is about proving that this is not a one contract spike but the start of repeatable industrial scale. If Saronic keeps converting Navy demand into steady production, international programs, and higher volume shipyard output, the company can grow into a valuation that today still prices in several years of Anduril like execution ahead.
