Sacra now tracks acquisitions across the web, Sacra Agent, API, and MCP. Look up who’s buying a company, what they’re paying, and whether the deal has closed, with sources behind the numbers.
From Cursor joining SpaceX to Bending Spoons buying Airtable and announcing its acquisition of Miro, consolidation is reshaping private markets. We’re making these deals easier to track, research, and build into your own products.

Track deals from announcement to close
An acquisition announcement is the start of a process. Prices can change, consideration can include cash and stock, and deals can fall through.
Sacra tracks announced, closed, and cancelled acquisitions, including the buyer, relevant dates, and reported price. Each deal is backed by sources, including company announcements, regulatory filings, and reporting from publications like Bloomberg, Reuters, and the Financial Times.

For investors following portfolio companies or researching potential exits, this means you can check a deal’s status and compare its price with the company’s prior funding valuations.
We also distinguish between enterprise value and equity value so you can understand what a reported price represents. An announced deal doesn’t automatically replace a company’s latest valuation: we use a completed acquisition when we have a supported equity value and a known closing date.
You can also ask about acquisitions through Sacra Agent on the web, over email, or in Slack:
- Who acquired Airtable, and how did the price compare with its last funding valuation?
- Has Google’s acquisition of Wiz closed?
- What were the terms of SpaceX’s acquisition of Cursor?
- Show me the sources behind Miro’s announced acquisition price.
On company profiles, closed acquisitions show the buyer and acquisition event. Through MCP, you can access the same acquisition data from your connected AI assistant.
Build acquisitions into your product

Acquisitions are part of Sacra’s Events API, alongside funding rounds, secondary transactions, IPO milestones, and corporate actions.
The events endpoint gives you a company’s capital history in one chronological feed. Each event includes its type, date, status, company, and when it was last updated, plus the details specific to that transaction:
- Funding rounds: Round type, amount raised, valuation, and share-class details.
- Secondary transactions: Tender offers and secondary sales, including transaction amounts, valuations, and price per share.
- Acquisitions: Buyer, announcement and closing dates, deal status, and separate enterprise and equity values.
- Milestones and corporate actions: IPOs, stock splits, recapitalizations, and other changes in a company’s lifecycle.
Filter by company, event type, or date, query multiple companies in a batch, and include source citations behind the data. For ongoing monitoring, sync new and updated events so your product reflects changes as deals progress.
Our goal is to track the meaningful events in a startup’s life, from its first funding round through an acquisition or IPO, and make that history easy for developers to use.
Getting started
We’re building Sacra to be as developer friendly as possible: self-serve setup, free to start, and metered usage as you grow. You can sign up, get an API key, and start building without talking to sales.
Whether you’re prototyping your first agent or adding private markets data to an existing product, the same platform supports portfolio monitoring tools, research workflows, and AI investing experiences, with structured data and source citations.
To access acquisitions in the API beta, request /api/v1/events/ with api_version=v1&betas=acquisitions. Add types=acquisition to return only acquisitions.
