Tavus instead wants those capabilities embedded inside software like HubSpot, Intercom, or Shopify.

This position only works if avatar generation stays technically hard. Tavus argues realistic replicas require a stack of specialized models for eye gaze, gestures, facial nuance, conversational timing, and contextual perception, which makes digital twins a better fit for an API vendor with concentrated R&D than for every app company to build in house.
The next step is a split market, with full stack video suites serving creators and enterprises, and infrastructure players powering avatar features everywhere else. If Tavus keeps improving realism, latency, and action taking behavior, it can become the default layer that turns digital twins from a novelty into a standard interface inside everyday software.
