TL;DR: Apollo is moving from giving salespeople contact lists & outreach tools to using AI to find potential customers, research them & prepare campaigns. Sacra estimates Apollo hit $265M ARR in September 2026, up from $194M at the end of 2025, while expanding into larger customers & making its tools available inside Clay, HubSpot & AI assistants like Claude. For more, check out our updated report and dataset on Apollo.

We first covered Apollo at $100M ARR in January 2024 as it disrupted ZoomInfo with a self-serve, vertically integrated data & outreach platform, then revisited it at $150M ARR in May 2025 as cheaper contact data pushed it to expand into meetings, automation & customer records to compete with Clay & HubSpot.
We’re revisiting it as Apollo builds a direct Clay competitor for researching & prioritizing prospects while bringing its data & outreach tools into ChatGPT, Claude & other AI assistants.
Key points via Sacra AI:
- Versus Clay, which wants to turn Apollo into just another data provider within its marketplace, Apollo has now assembled all of the pieces to launch its direct assault on Clay, adding waterfall enrichment across 18 third-party data & validation providers (October 2025), acquiring sales intelligence company Pocus (March 2026), and adding 200+ workflow destinations for data like Airtable & Google Sheets (June 2026), culminating in the current beta of its own neo-spreadsheet, Sheets (October 2026).
- Sacra estimates Apollo hit $265M ARR in September 2026, up 37% year-to-date from $194M at the end of 2025 (+45% YoY in 2025), last valued at $1.6B in its August 2023 Series D (10.7x multiple)—compared to Clay at $200M ARR in September 2026, up 85% year-to-date from $108M at the end of 2025 (+260% YoY in 2025), last valued at $7.1B in its September 2026 $115M Series D led by Wellington (35.5x multiple).
- Attempting to cut off at the pass the emerging usage of browser-use research agents (Manus, $450M annualized revenue in June 2026) & deep web research APIs (Exa, $100M annualized revenue in September 2026, & Parallel) for sales prospecting, Apollo launched Apollo Anywhere (March 2026), allowing customers to use their Apollo data & credits for data enrichment inside the AI tools they already use like ChatGPT, Claude & Perplexity, driving ~10x growth in credit consumption from March to August 2026 and keeping its paid products in the workflow even when customers leave its app.
