Lite plan unlocks SMB market

Diving deeper into

Prezent

Company Report
The self-serve Lite plan at $40 per user per month opens the small and medium business market, potentially 10-20 times larger than the Fortune 2000 segment Prezent serves today.

Lite changes Prezent from a company that sells through procurement into one that can spread user by user. That matters because the core job, turning a rough idea into a branded deck in PowerPoint, exists in every 10 person firm, not just the Fortune 2000. At $40 per seat, Prezent can reach SMB teams that will never run a six month enterprise buying process, while still charging above basic bundled AI slide generation because it sells brand control, templates, and training, not just first drafts.

  • The product is already built for repeatable self serve use. Users type a prompt or upload a file, Astrid turns it into a branded deck, and the platform adds template libraries, story builders, and presentation training. That makes Lite a packaging change more than a new product category.
  • The closest comp is Canva, which won SMBs by making design simple, keeping a powerful free and low cost plan, and then layering collaboration and templates that spread across small teams. Its strongest adoption has historically been in consumers and SMBs, with much lower friction than enterprise procurement.
  • The tradeoff is that downmarket presentation software gets crowded fast. Canva operates at multi billion ARR scale, Gamma reached roughly $102M ARR by October 2025, and Pitch and Tome both leaned on self serve before moving toward narrower use cases. That pushes Prezent to differentiate on compliance heavy vertical workflows, not generic AI slide creation.

The next step is a two lane business. Enterprise keeps funding high ACV vertical accounts in biopharma, finance, and manufacturing, while Lite becomes the acquisition engine that seeds smaller teams and future upmarket accounts. If Prezent connects Lite usage to its learning products and overnight service layer, it can turn a cheap seat into a broader communication system of record.
