Enterprise voice agents drive ElevenLabs growth
ElevenLabs
ElevenLabs is no longer growing mainly by selling voice generation tools, it is growing by becoming part of the operating layer for high volume enterprise workflows. In practice, that means its software is now answering support calls, switching languages mid call, pulling live account data, and completing tasks like disputes and chargebacks. That shift matters because usage scales with every call handled, not just with the number of seats or creators on the platform.1 2 3
- The clearest proof is customer support. Revolut rolled out ElevenLabs Agents across the UK and Europe for more than 4 million customers in 30 plus languages, and the system does more than speak, it handles live calls, reads customer context, and resolves some issues end to end. Klarna then put an ElevenLabs voice agent in front line U.S. phone support for 35 million customers, reporting up to 10x faster resolution.2 3
- This is a different business from creator subscriptions. Enterprise voice agents create metered revenue tied to minutes, conversations, and workflow depth. ElevenLabs has already supported more than 2 million deployed conversational agents and 33 million plus conversations, which helps explain why agent adoption can add revenue much faster than the older text to speech business alone.1 4
- The competitive line is moving from best sounding voice to best production system. Decagon partnered with ElevenLabs to add phone support to its customer service stack, while Cartesia and Retell show the two main alternatives, cheaper modular infrastructure for builders, or full workflow platforms that route across interchangeable voice models. ElevenLabs is pushing up the stack by bundling the voice, speech recognition, and agent runtime together.4 5 6 7
The next phase is expansion from support into revenue and operations workflows, where the same agent stack can qualify leads, screen candidates, run outbound campaigns, and localize brand voice across markets. If ElevenLabs keeps turning voice quality into reliable task completion at enterprise scale, voice agents can become its largest and most defensible revenue engine.1 2 4
