ServiceTitan as Contractor Operating System
ServiceTitan
The Pro products turned ServiceTitan from a scheduling system into the operating system for how a contractor wins work, sells more on each job, and gets paid. Once the core CRM is in place, add-ons like marketing, memberships, inventory, payroll, lending, and payments let ServiceTitan capture more of the workflow and more of the dollars flowing through each contractor, which raises revenue per customer and makes the product harder to replace.

The starting product was built for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC companies, with dashboards for cash flow, scheduling, marketing, and a technician mobile app in the field. The Pro layer expanded from that base into adjacent functions that owners already paid for separately or managed in spreadsheets and point tools.
-
In residential service, the money is won and collected inside the job itself. Techs show estimates on an iPad, upsell additional work in the home, and often take card payment before leaving. That makes products around proposal management, payments, financing, and inventory especially valuable because they sit directly on the revenue event.

This is also how ServiceTitan separates from lower priced rivals like Jobber. Jobber serves the same home services category, but ServiceTitan has pushed upmarket with deeper tooling and higher monetization, while Jobber has competed from below at roughly one third of the price. The result is a wider product ladder inside the same market.
The next step is more automation layered on top of the Pro suite. As ServiceTitan adds AI driven call handling, campaign automation, and financing inside the same system, each new module will make the platform less like software a contractor buys and more like infrastructure the business runs on every day.
