Superhuman’s product design makes sense only if the user handles enough email to justify learning a faster operating system for the inbox. It is built around shaving seconds off repeated actions with keyboard shortcuts, a command palette, and a premium workflow on top of Gmail and Outlook, which fits founders, executives, recruiters, and sales people who live in email all day, but creates a steeper learning curve for the average employee who just wants a clearer inbox.
