Why we built it
Over the last 30 days, Sacra MCP has served 300,000+ requests across Claude, ChatGPT, and backend integrations like Goodfin. Investors, founders, and developers are pulling high-quality private company data with it, the kind of data you can't get reliably from web search.
That told us the demand for Sacra data inside existing workflows is real and growing. So we built our own agent on top of the same infrastructure and started bringing it to the surfaces where people already work.
Slack is first.
What Sacra Agent can do
You can ask Sacra Agent anything you would normally ask a research analyst. It pulls data from Sacra and the web, cites its sources, and handles complex queries across a conversation.
Ask it about a company's revenue, valuation, funding history, competitive landscape, or recent news. Ask it to compare two companies. Ask it to produce an investment memo or an LP update. It doesn't need you to phrase things perfectly. It reasons over your question, decides what to pull and from where, and comes back with a concrete answer or work product.

The core capabilities:
- Pulls data from Sacra and the web, citing sources throughout
- Reasons over complex, multi-part queries and maintains context across a conversation
- Produces concrete outputs: memos, briefs, comparisons, and research summaries
- Extends as we add more data, skills, and surfaces
Sacra Agent produces the same quality of output you'd get from Sacra MCP inside Claude or ChatGPT, without having to leave Slack.
Built on Sacra MCP
Sacra Agent runs on the same Sacra MCP server that powers integrations for Claude, ChatGPT, and backend products like Goodfin. The tools are the same: company profiles, funding rounds, revenue data, news, full document contents, and search across the full Sacra corpus.
The difference is that Sacra Agent handles the orchestration for you. You don't need to configure MCP or wire up a client. You just install it and start asking questions.
