Why email
A lot of investment work happens in email. Deal flow comes in over email. LP updates go out over email. Team conversations about companies and opportunities run over email. That's why we wanted to bring Sacra Agent there.
We launched Sacra Agent for Slack to meet people where they already work. Email is the other place where a lot of that work actually happens, especially for investors.
What you can do with it
Ask one-off questions. Email the agent a question about any company and get back a researched answer with cited sources. Revenue numbers, funding history, competitive landscape, recent news. Same output you'd get from Sacra in Claude or ChatGPT, delivered to your inbox.
Have a conversation. Reply to any response and the agent maintains context across the thread. Ask a follow-up, go deeper on a specific angle, or pivot to a related company. It holds the thread the same way a research analyst would.
Forward emails for analysis. Forward any email to the agent and ask it a question about it. Forward a pitch, a news item, a deal summary, or a thread and ask what Sacra knows about the company, how the numbers compare to what we have, or what the competitive context looks like. The agent reads what you forward and pulls Sacra data to respond.
Loop it into team threads. CC the agent on an existing email conversation and it joins with data. Your team is discussing a deal, debating a valuation, or comparing two companies and you need actual numbers. Loop Sacra Agent in and it adds sourced data to the thread without anyone having to break out to a separate tool.
Built on Sacra Agent
Sacra Agent for Email runs on the same infrastructure as Sacra Agent for Slack and the Sacra MCP server that powers Claude, ChatGPT, and backend integrations. Company profiles, revenue data, funding rounds, news, and the full Sacra research corpus are all available to it.
The surface is new. The underlying agent is the same.
