Why we're integrating with AI tools
Sacra has always been about making private markets data easier to find, understand, and use. That’s why we've spent as much time on research as we have on programmatic interfaces to our research via our APIs and MCP.
We want Sacra not just to live as a destination you visit on our site, but also to show up in the tools you already use every day—like Claude and ChatGPT—and to be data infrastructure that you can build on top of.
For many of our users, AI chat tools are becoming a natural interface for research, analysis, and decision-making.
By integrating Sacra directly into those workflows, you can ask questions and get private markets data instantly, without switching contexts. Instead of opening a new tab and searching manually, Sacra data flows into the same place where you’re already thinking, drafting, and analyzing.
What Sacra MCP can do
We built the Sacra connector for ChatGPT based on model context protocol, which has been adopted by both Anthropic and OpenAI.
We made the decision to roll out Sacra MCP for Claude first, because its implementation is more mature. It's also available for use with Claude Code.
With this launch, we've rolled out a Sacra connector for ChatGPT as well.
The Sacra connector for ChatGPT can do the following:
- search company profiles, datasets, interviews & research reports
- fetch the contents of those documents & datasets
ChatGPT can then use that data in generating its response based on trusted data rather than web search results.
