In practice, they contain the most useful records of people comparing products in messy real world language, like which moisturizer broke someone out, which coffee grinder jammed after six months, or which stroller folds easily with one hand. LLMs make that material usable at scale by pulling out product names, use cases, and sentiment from threads and videos that older search systems could not reliably parse.
