The core risk is that HiBob is moving from one clear job, running HR cleanly for midmarket companies, into several adjacent jobs that each demand different product depth. Payroll needs local compliance and error free execution. Workforce planning needs scenario models and budget controls. AI needs trusted workflows and guardrails. If those layers do not connect tightly in one daily workflow, customers end up with more tabs to buy, but not a stronger system of record.

If not, specialists and larger suites will keep pulling buyers back to deeper single function tools.
