Large suite vendors are moving in the same direction. The FinOps Foundation and ITAM Forum announced a partnership in June 2025 around FinOps and ITAM convergence, while IBM has been tying together Cloudability, Turbonomic, and Kubecost to connect financial reporting with optimization. That makes the market bigger, but also trains buyers to expect one shared cost model across cloud, software, and infrastructure.
