The real moat is shifting from who gets the most votes to who sees the full creation workflow. In tools like Canva, Figma, Gamma, and Vercel, the product can see what a user starts, what they keep editing, what they publish, and what they abandon. That data is closer to purchase intent and production quality than a simple head to head preference click, because it comes from real work inside a tool people already use to ship finished output.

Gamma found that AI mattered first because it got users past the blank page. But the lasting value came after generation, when users manually edited, reworked layouts, imported source files, and turned rough drafts into presentations, docs, and webpages. Those downstream actions are stronger signals than a one time vote.

Canva and Figma already sit in high frequency creative loops. Canva spans slides, images, video, whiteboards, publishing, approvals, and brand workflows at massive scale. Figma stores shared files, comments, version history, prototypes, and handoff to developers. That means they can observe repeated behavior across creation, review, and final delivery.

Vercel shows the same pattern in code. Its strongest signal is not which model a user says they like, but which generated app actually gets deployed and kept running. In June 2026, agents initiated more than 50% of deployments on Vercel, turning real shipping behavior into a feedback dataset for model and product evaluation.
The next arena products will be embedded inside creation tools, not separate leaderboards. The winning platforms will use edit, publish, and retention behavior to train routing and ranking systems automatically, making evaluation part of the workflow itself and pushing standalone comparison layers toward narrower, more specialized roles.
