The card matters because it turns a partner from seeing only sales into seeing the full money loop. A vertical SaaS platform already knows when a plumber gets paid, books a job, or sends an invoice. Once that same business starts using a branded expense card, the platform can also see fuel, materials, software, payroll related spend, and recurring vendor payments. That makes underwriting sharper, product recommendations more precise, and the platform much harder to replace.
