The practical advantage is coverage and speed. Review publishers like Wirecutter and Consumer Reports produce high trust recommendations, but they can only test so many products. Vetted can ingest those reviews alongside messy long tail signals from forums and videos, which lets it answer niche shopping questions across far more categories and update recommendations as new products appear.

That also changes the competitive relationship. Vetted still needs trusted publishers because their testing creates high quality source material.
