Integrating RedotPay into merchant checkouts
RedotPay
The bottleneck here is distribution through merchant software, not consumer demand. RedotPay already has the wallet connections and conversion layer to turn crypto balances into merchant payouts, but scaling acceptance means fitting into the systems merchants already use to create orders, match settlements to invoices, handle refunds, and support disputes. That is a very different operating job from issuing cards to consumers.1 2 3 4 5
- RedotPay Connect is built as a gateway product, not just a card. It lets merchants accept payments from multiple wallets, settle in local currency, and pull transaction records through OpenAPI. The product already supports hosted pay links and deeper API based checkout flows, which is the technical base needed for platform integrations.2 3
- The market is moving toward stablecoin acceptance inside existing PSP and commerce stacks. Coinbase has pushed stablecoin checkout into PPRO, Checkout.com, and Shopify, all framed around enabling merchants from their current dashboard instead of asking them to bolt on a separate crypto workflow. That raises the bar for RedotPay to win distribution through the same channels.6 7 8 9
- Comparable infrastructure players are expanding from checkout into payouts and back office workflows because merchant payments are really an operations problem. Mesh has moved beyond wallet connectivity into settlement and payouts, while companies like Ant and PortOne pair payment acceptance with reconciliation, onboarding, and analytics, where the sticky software value sits.10 11 12 13
The next step is for stablecoin payment providers to become embedded payment methods inside major commerce platforms and PSPs. If RedotPay can turn Connect into a plug in for the systems merchants already run, it can convert its consumer and wallet network into merchant volume, recurring software like revenue, and a broader cross-border payouts business.2 6 10 13
