The key advantage here is not geography, it is workflow credibility. Galbot already sells robots into factories run by companies like Bosch, Toyota, CATL, BAIC, and SAIC, so expansion can start with the same buyers, the same plant use cases, and a known ROI story around loading, assembly, and inspection. That is a much faster path than trying to win foreign distributors first and then persuade new customers to trust a general purpose robot brand from scratch.

The joint venture was formed with Boyuan Capital, Bosch Group's investment platform, and later raised nearly 300 million RMB to push industrial embodied intelligence. The next stage is likely a playbook where Galbot enters overseas through existing automotive and electronics accounts, proves repeatable labor replacement in a few factory tasks, then layers broader plant automation on top. If that works, channel support stops being the gating factor, because the customer relationship itself becomes the distribution channel.
