Writer becomes enterprise AI platform

Writer is trying to own the layer where enterprise AI actually gets built and governed, not just the box where text gets generated. The shift from style suggestions in docs to support, legal, and custom app workflows matters because it moves Writer from a seat based writing tool into a broader platform sale, with proprietary models, guardrails, RAG, integrations, and admin controls that let large companies automate work without giving up data control.
