Prolific embedded in Google Cloud procurement
Prolific
This is less a distribution deal than a budget unlock. Once Prolific is listed inside Google Cloud Marketplace, buying participant data starts to look like buying any other approved cloud software, which matters because enterprise ML teams often have pre approved vendors, committed cloud spend, and long procurement cycles. That shifts Prolific from a tool a researcher discovers to infrastructure an enterprise team can buy on an existing budget line.
-
Prolific already fits enterprise AI workflows at the product level. Teams can launch studies through the web app or API, target from 300 plus filters, send participants into external survey or eval tools, and get results back in hours. Marketplace procurement removes the buying friction around that workflow, not the workflow itself.
-
The customer mix is already moving beyond academia and frontier labs. Prolific now serves four segments, including AI B2B companies and broader enterprise research buyers, with growing demand for product testing, safety evaluation, cultural nuance, and multilingual work. Google Cloud Marketplace helps those newer buyers transact without custom vendor setup.
-
This follows the same enterprise pattern seen in other infrastructure vendors. PlanetScale notes that AWS and Google Cloud marketplace listings simplify procurement and open co selling paths with cloud sales teams. For Prolific, the twist is that the thing being purchased is not compute, but human judgment used to evaluate and improve AI products.
The next step is Prolific becoming a default human evaluation layer inside enterprise AI stacks. If more model builders buy it through cloud marketplaces and trigger studies from integrated tools, participant data moves from an ad hoc research expense to a recurring part of how companies ship, test, and monitor AI systems.
