The next phase is a full avian pipeline, from cultured germ cells, to sterile surrogate hosts, to artificial incubation. If that stack keeps working, Colossal moves from one off de extinction experiments toward a reusable platform for rebuilding bird lineages, starting with dodo like pigeons and extending to other conservation and revival programs.
