Huntress expands MSP security bundle
Huntress
Huntress is turning one foothold in endpoint security into a broader MSP security bundle, which makes each customer account worth more without changing how the product is bought. In less than two years it added managed identity protection for Microsoft 365, security awareness training, and managed SIEM, so an MSP already using Huntress for endpoints could also buy email account protection, employee phishing training, and centralized log monitoring from the same vendor.1 2 3 4 5
- The launch sequence was fast and concrete. Huntress rolled out MDR for Microsoft 365 in 2023, launched Security Awareness Training after acquiring Curricula in 2024, and introduced managed SIEM in 2024 with general availability in April 2025. That took Huntress from watching devices to also covering identities, employees, and logs.2 3 4 5
- This matters because Huntress mainly sells through MSPs. An MSP can turn on more protection for the same small business customer inside the same outsourced IT relationship, instead of stitching together separate vendors for endpoint detection, identity response, phishing training, and compliance log retention.1 6 7
- The competitive pressure is also bundle shaped. Kaseya, ConnectWise, N-able, Blackpoint, and Arctic Wolf all push broader security stacks through partners, so Huntress needs adjacent products to defend wallet share and keep partners from replacing it with a larger all in one package.6 7 8 9
The next step is deeper consolidation around the MSP console. Huntress already moved from a single endpoint tool toward a managed platform, and future growth should come from selling more modules into the same base, especially products that help MSPs meet compliance demands and reduce the number of separate security vendors they manage.1 4 6 7
