GoodLeap’s real moat is distribution, not local branch buildout. The company gets into a new state by signing up contractors that already sell roofs, HVAC, solar, or batteries there, then plugging them into the same approval, payment, and servicing software. That matters because the platform already reaches more than 1.3 million homeowners through 18,000 plus contractor partners, so each added market can bring loan volume first, then battery and grid services revenue on top.

  • The contractor workflow is built for remote scale. Sales reps use GoodLeap Pros to run soft credit, show offers in seconds, collect e-signatures, and trigger funding after milestones are verified, so a contractor in a new geography can use the same process without a local GoodLeap office.
  • The expansion logic is broader than solar.
