Cover built around standardized panels and software driven mass customization, while Katerra tried to scale a much larger construction stack before its product and process were tight. Reframe is following the product first version of vertical integration, with a local microfactory and a narrow initial footprint before broader expansion.
The next step is turning this integrated model into repeatable local capacity. If Reframe can keep collapsing preconstruction, factory production, and site assembly into one workflow, homebuilding starts to look less like a one off construction project and more like regional manufacturing, with faster delivery, fewer labor bottlenecks, and tighter control over cost and quality.
