Anduril partnered with Rheinmetall to build European versions of Barracuda, Fury, and solid rocket motors with local suppliers, showing that allied buyers increasingly prefer sovereign production structures over straight imports when systems become strategically important.

This is especially relevant for motors and energetics because production is hazardous and logistics are awkward. Firehawk is building modular additive manufacturing cells near missile and ammunition clusters in the U.S., and the same logic travels abroad, local cells reduce hazardous material movement and add surge capacity closer to demand.

The financing syndicate fits that path. Firehawk added Hanwha Defense USA, tied to South Korean industrial capacity, and Presto Tech Horizons, a European defense fund linked to CSG. Those relationships matter less as passive capital than as bridgeheads into countries that want domestic lines, local partners, and licensed know how.
The next step is a shift from single factory suppliers to federated defense manufacturers. If Firehawk can standardize a containerized cell, certify quality across sites, and hand partners a repeatable process for propellant grains and motor assembly, it can become the picks and shovels layer for allied missile replenishment programs in Europe and Asia.
