Shift to Integrated Cannabis Lines

Company Report
These companies market themselves as comprehensive solutions for manufacturers seeking to avoid the complexities of integrating equipment from multiple vendors

The key competitive shift is from selling a machine to selling a whole line. For a cannabis manufacturer, the hard part is often not filling or coating one joint, it is making grinders, fillers, infusers, inspectors, packagers, and software all work together without constant jams, handoffs, and operator workarounds. That is why STM Canna and Canapa push bundled systems, and why Sorting Robotics has moved beyond point machines into custom line integration with LAKA as the control layer.

  • STM Canna markets RocketBox Pro as a high output pre roll system, with site materials showing up to 5,000 plus pre rolls per hour, while the product page also notes real output can be closer to 3,000 per hour depending on setup. The pitch is one vendor, one workflow, and less integration work on the factory floor.
  • Canapa by Paxiom is building the same bundled story from another angle. JuanaRoll handles fill and close, Vision360 inspects, and JuanaPack loads tubes or trays, so the customer can buy a connected sequence instead of stitching together separate stations from different vendors.
  • Sorting Robotics is not boxed into the standalone machine slot. Its custom integrations business already deploys complete lines for customers producing more than 100,000 pre rolls per day, and LAKA tracks cycle counts, quality, and maintenance across machines. That makes software and systems design the real defense, not just the robot itself.

The market is heading toward fewer isolated machines and more pre assembled production cells sold with software, service, and financing attached. As more buyers ask for one throat to choke, the winners will be the vendors that can own the full workflow, from flower input to packed pre roll output, while still matching the economics of specialized equipment.
