The mobile vans made fertility testing feel easy and visible, then converted interest into clinic visits for full assessments, egg freezing, and IVF. • The mobile format was not just branding. Early pop ups offered free AMH blood draws, on site consults, and broad geographic reach before a permanent clinic opened. In Los Angeles, Kindbody drew 2,000 pre signups, confirmed 400 appointments, and had already run almost 1,000 AMH tests across prior pop ups.2
• AMH was useful because it was simple and cheap enough to offer free, but it was only an entry point. Kindbody paired the blood test with follow up physician calls for out of range results, then upsold patients into a fuller fertility assessment with hormone testing, ultrasound, and a personalized plan at its clinics.1 3 4
• This is what separated Kindbody from Maven. Maven scaled as an asset light employer benefit with a distributed provider network, while Kindbody used clinics to capture procedure revenue directly. That made Kindbody structurally more dependent on filling chairs and procedure rooms, but it also supported much higher gross margins and a richer revenue multiple.5 6

The next phase is less about proving demand and more about increasing lifetime value from each acquired patient. As Kindbody adds more clinics, employer contracts, and adjacent services, the winning model is the one that turns an initial fertility question into years of treatment, monitoring, pregnancy, and family building revenue inside one system.5 6
