Muck Rack

growth accelerated through 2024 and into 2025 as the company expanded beyond its core PR platform

Muck Rack’s faster growth came from moving up the budget stack, from a point tool for finding journalists and sending pitches to a broader system for tracking brand coverage, social chatter, press releases, and now AI search visibility. That matters because each added workflow gives PR teams another reason to expand seats, buy premium monitoring, or pay for analyst led services, which lifts revenue per customer as the base grows.

  • The expansion was product led and service led. Keyhole added social listening in September 2024, letting teams track brand mentions and engagement across social networks inside the same workflow they already used for media outreach and monitoring. Ruepoint added analyst run monitoring, executive digests, and custom reporting in January 2025, which pushed Muck Rack further into enterprise budgets.
  • Press release distribution and AI visibility monitoring opened two more spend categories. In May 2025, Muck Rack launched distribution through GlobeNewswire, so teams could write, send, and measure releases without leaving the platform. Generative Pulse added tracking for how brands appear in AI generated answers and which publishers shape those answers.
  • The financial pattern fits a cross sell story more than a pure logo count story. ARR rose from about $63M in 2023 to $80M in 2024, then to $100M in 2025 and $108M by April 2026. At the same time, the company described itself as serving thousands of communications teams, suggesting growth came from both more customers and broader product adoption inside each account.

The next phase is Muck Rack becoming the operating system for communications teams. If it keeps bundling database, monitoring, social listening, managed analysis, distribution, and AI visibility into one contract, growth should keep shifting from seat expansion alone to larger multi product deals with enterprise PR and communications leaders.
