Claude can act as a strong research and thinking partner, but the company profile and adjacent interviews show Anthropic is strongest as a model and agent platform, not as the shared system where company workflows live.

Notion, Grammarly, and others are trying to pull more work into one workspace, because the app that holds the task, the document, and the discussion also holds the best context for AI to act usefully instead of producing detached suggestions.
The next phase favors products that turn AI from a solo prompt box into a shared execution layer. The winners will be platforms that let an agent draft a plan, open the task, update the status, notify the right teammate, preserve the decision in a doc, and keep the whole workflow visible to everyone involved.
