This expansion shows Hone is turning a single condition telehealth business into a broader recurring care engine. The important shift is not just more products, but more reasons for the same patient to keep coming back for labs, consults, dose changes, and add on prescriptions. That makes GLP-1s, metformin, glutathione, and women’s hormone care fit the same operating model that already worked in TRT, and helps explain why growth reaccelerated from roughly 3% to 6% monthly in 2025.1 2

  • Hone’s core advantage is operational, not just marketing. Unlike high volume telehealth sellers that mainly ship pills after a quick online intake, Hone built around recurring blood draws, lab review, and follow up visits. That same workflow can support testosterone, menopause HRT, weight loss, and longevity treatments with higher retention and more add on revenue per patient.1 2
  • The closest analog on weight loss is Noom, which added GLP-1s because obesity drugs have long treatment duration and strong lifetime value. Hone is taking that same long duration medication dynamic and plugging it into a care model that already includes medication titration and biomarker monitoring, which can make each new therapy more profitable than a stand alone launch.1 3
  • The women’s line also broadens Hone beyond a male TRT niche, but in a different way than Maven. Maven sells women’s health as an employer benefit, while Hone sells cash pay ongoing care direct to consumers. That means Hone can move faster across menopause, hormones, and metabolics, while monetizing each member through monthly subscriptions and pharmacy style add ons rather than employer contracts.2 4

The next step is for Hone to look less like a testosterone startup and more like a specialized cash pay chronic care platform. If it keeps layering adjacent therapies onto the same lab and consult workflow, revenue should increasingly come from multi product members, which would deepen retention and make it harder for pure prescription telehealth apps or diagnostics only platforms to catch up.1 2 3 4
