This is what turns AlphaSense from a research tool into infrastructure. Once a bank, PE firm, or corporate strategy team wants one system to search broker research, expert calls, internal memos, meeting notes, and slide decks together, the real alternative is no longer another data vendor, it is a multi year internal build that still needs model tuning, security controls, connectors, and constant upkeep.

  • AlphaSense pushed upmarket by adding Enterprise Intelligence, which lets customers connect internal drives and search proprietary files alongside premium external content. That expands the buyer from individual researchers to whole organizations, and supports larger contracts, including $50K to $100K plus enterprise deals and $1M plus at the high end.
  • The product is built to remove the biggest reason companies try to build in house, security and control. AlphaSense offers private cloud and behind the firewall deployment options, out of the box connectors, and states that client data and queries are not used to train models. That makes buy easier for regulated customers that cannot risk sensitive research leaking into general purpose AI tools.
  • This market is converging around a split between broad enterprise search and deeper workflow tools. Glean shows the horizontal search play at scale, with pricing that can run from about $30K per year to over $5M for large deployments, while AlphaSense adds financial content and expert transcripts through Tegus. That makes AlphaSense especially strong where external market data and internal knowledge need to be searched in the same place.

The next step is from search box to decision engine. As more firms decide they do not want to maintain their own retrieval stack, prompts, and model routing, the winning platforms will be the ones that combine trusted internal data, differentiated external content, and secure deployment into a default layer for research workflows. AlphaSense is moving toward that control point.
