The hardware collects heart rate, breathing, movement, and temperature data at night, then Autopilot uses that data to change the bed in real time through cooling, heating, elevation, and other interventions. That makes the subscription easier to justify, because the product is doing work every night, not just showing charts the next morning.

If FDA submissions for apnea and cardiac monitoring advance, and if condition specific features like menopause support keep widening use cases, more of the value will sit in software, care pathways, and reimbursable services layered on top of the bed.
