These endpoints push Extend from document reading into document execution and trust. Edit lets software take extracted data and place it back into real PDFs, so a loan bot can not only read a W-2 or bank statement but also complete the next form in the workflow. Verify adds a risk gate before any payout, approval, or filing, which moves Extend closer to the exact decision point where money and liability sit.1 2 3 4 5

  • Edit is built for the messy reality of forms, not just neat templates. It can detect fields from PDF internals and page vision, label them, follow page logic, and fill text, checkboxes, dropdown style controls, and signatures, which makes it usable on scanned or non standard documents where brittle field mapping usually breaks.2 3
  • Verify is a separate product surface with its own workflow and budget owner. It returns a document level risk score, a plain language summary, and locatable evidence for tampering, file structure anomalies, and generated content, which makes it useful for underwriting, claims, KYC, and payment review teams, not just developers building extraction pipelines.1 4 5
  • This also sharpens Extend's position against cloud OCR APIs from AWS, Azure, and Google. Those products are easy to buy when a team only needs to read documents. Extend is trying to win cases where customers need one vendor to parse, extract, review, fill, and now screen for fraud inside the same workflow.5 6

The next step is a full closed loop document agent. One system reads an uploaded file, decides what it is, extracts fields, checks whether it looks fake, and then writes verified data into the next required form. As more high value workflows move from assistive AI to action taking AI, that end to end control point becomes much more valuable.1 2 4 5
