The real advantage is not just more delivery volume, it is turning a fixed robot fleet into shared infrastructure that many businesses can tap only when they need it. That matters because most retailers and 3PLs do not have enough steady same area demand to justify owning robots full time. A public API lets Starship sell spare capacity across campuses, grocery routes, and local merchants, while every extra trip also improves mapping, routing, and robot utilization.
